Why Libby Can be the
Perfect Home School Helper!

Should you need assistance downloading the Libby App onto your mobile devices,
please contact BPL at (918) 338-4169!

As we see an influx of parents and students learning to do virtual school, remember the many invaluable resources Bartlesville Public Library offers, virtually and on-site!

According to a survey, 70% of parents who homeschool noted that the public library is their most valuable resource. It is important to know how to access the library’s digital collection and all of the benefits it can provide as well!

With Libby, you can instantly borrow content to help expand on student interests. Having easily accessible, instant resources helps students dive deeper into what they want to learn about it.
For example, if a particular book is required for a lesson, it is very easy to check it out from the digital collection, and never worry about late fees!

Even if your student just wants to take a break from academics and curl up with the newest in the Wimpy Kid series or a comic from the Marvel collection, borrowing eBooks or eAudio Books is a great way to get books fast. Whether it is for school or for fun, reading is reading!

Parents can benefit too with titles that can sharpen their own skills while getting a refresher on upcoming curriculum and ideas for fun and creative learning activities.
Download the Libby app onto any mobile device today, and have an extra library resource available!

NEW!
SELF-CHECKOUT AT BPL

BPL has had plans to install self-checkout for some time.  After the Covid-19 pandemic hit, self-checkout became a top priority and BPL installed two self-checkout units for your use!

Self-checkout is very easy to use.
We recommend using self-checkout for the
first time when you are not pressed for time, so that you will have it down pat when you are in a rush.
As always, if you need help using the self-checkout units,
the BPL staff is here for you!
