Failure to follow these rules will result in immediate loss of computer access for a period of one month to one year.
Children under the age of 10 are to remain with an adult at all times while in the library.
Individuals and groups have 60 minutes (1 hour) per day on the computer. A group is two or more individuals viewing the screen at the same time.
You must have your own library card to access the computers. See below.
You may ONLY use YOUR OWN library card to access the computers.
You may only access material that is appropriate for public use. While the computers are filtered, filters are an imperfect technology. Inappropriate material includes but is not limited to depictions of human nudity for the purpose of erotic arousal, and/or depictions of violence for the purpose of sensationalism.
The library’s computers may only be used for LEGAL activities.
Please be courteous. Respect the privacy of other users, and be aware that others may be waiting to use a terminal.
If you do not have a library card, you can show your ID and proof of address at the Circulation desk and get one FREE if you live or work in the Bartlesville area.
If you are from out of town or do not qualify for a library card, you can get a temporary access card at the circulation desk.
Individuals who owe the library $5.00 or more in charges, and families (individuals who are related or are living at the same address) who have charges on individual cards that when added together total $25 or more will not have access to computers until charges are paid.
