Dan, the Taxi Man,

by Lynn Parrish Sutton and illustrated by Faith Pray.

OKM Music’s donation to BPL included the featured books from their children’s programming events held in July, and
supplies used to create their projects!
The books are available for BPL patron borrowing, and they are located in our Youth Services Department!

Curbside Pickup!


BPL’s hours are:
Monday – Thursday:

9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
and
Friday and Saturday:

9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.


You are encouraged, but not required,
to wear a mask while in the library.
For the first two weeks of June,
we will limit patrons in the library to 91,
(by Bartlesville Ordinance and Covid-19 recommended guidelines).

We ask that our patrons limit their visit time to 30 minutes. Exceptions can apply to those who have a designated
appointment for public computer usage or
appointments in the Business Center or the Creative Corner.

We will accept returns for the Library of Things at the Reference Desk; however, we will not begin lending Things at this time.
We expect to begin lending from the Library of Things collection again on June 15.

We have made good use of our time while closed by performing many renovations.
We hope you love them!

Please remember to observe social distancing guidelines while in the library, wash your hands and use the provided hand sanitizer.

For everyone’s safety, returned library materials will undergo a
72-hour quarantine and sanitation procedure prior to placing the item into circulation.

We are so excited to be able to serve you again,

Bartlesville Public Library –

BPL is Opening, 5/18 – 5/31, for Curbside Pickup! 

The hours are:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. 
On June 1st, we will reopen the library for limited services while still offering curbside pickup!

Customers can now begin using our
WEBSITE CATALOG
to put items on “Hold”, and pick out materials.

For Curbside Pickup starting May 18,
we will begin pulling all the hold requests received, and we will contact you by
calling, emailing or texting (depending on your account settings for contact preferences)
letting each patron know their materials are available for pickup.
For those who would prefer to speak directly with a librarian,
please call 918-338-4171 beginning Monday, May 18
and place your materials “order”.

When you receive a notification that your order is ready, please enter the parking lot at
Fifth and Johnstone
and pull into one of the 6 marked pickup spaces.
Remain in your car,
call the number on the sign in front of you and let us know you are here.
We will promptly deliver your requested materials right to your car!

For everyone’s security, we ask that you
hold up an ID against your driver’s window
(leaving your window up)
allowing us to verify that we are delivering the materials to the correct vehicle.
We will place your order either in the back seat or in your trunk.

For everyone’s safety, returned library materials remain
exclusively received through the book drops!
The returned books will undergo a 72-hour quarantine and sanitation before they will be placed back into circulation.

We are so excited to be able to serve you again and can’t wait until we can welcome you back inside the library in June!
