The Library is excited to announce that we will begin hosting crafting classes and will open a creative area in June called the “Creative Corner”.
The Creative Corner will be a designated space that patrons can
reserve to work on projects.
The space will contain creative supplies to decorate bulletin boards, do scrapbooking, journaling and many other forms of creativity.
We will be equipping the room with a computer and Cricut cutter, paper, fabric, ribbon, scissors, cutting boards and much more.
Patrons will reserve the use of the room much like a meeting room, and
there will be no cost to patrons!
We have also purchased a craft cabinet to hold materials for classes.
Our first class, on May 21st from 2-4 p.m.,
will be the making of a burlap wreath.
To register for the “Wreath Making Class”, click HERE.
The second class will be on June 18th from 6 to 8 p.m.
This class will be “Introduction to Scrapbooking”.
To register for the Scrapbooking Class, click HERE.
As you can imagine supplies will be quite costly. We are asking for donations.
If you have craft supplies you are willing to donate, please bring them to the Library.
Once donations have been inventoried and organized,
we will purchase what was not donated.
If creating is an interest of yours, we hope to see you at the Library soon!
