Please join us on Tuesday, April 13, at 3 pm LIVE on the BPL Facebook page for Wound Care presented by Gina Wills, RN, BSN and Amanda Testa, EMT.

Learn more about wound care and the services provided at the Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Wound Center in Bartlesville. The presentation will discuss the different types of wounds and how they are treated, including an introduction to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  

Gina Wills, RN, BSN has a background in pediatric home health. She started working in wound care in 2014 at the Ascension St. John Wound Center Tulsa with Dr. Le. In 2016, she began commuting to Bartlesville to help establish a full spectrum wound care program and serves as an instrumental team leader aiding in clinic growth. Amanda Testa, EMT, graduated from Tri County Technology Center EMT program in 2020. She has more than three years of experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.

Xtreme Hip Hop w/ Tarah begins on Wednesday, April 7, at 7 pm. This class will be held outside at Unity Square on Wednesdays at 7 pm. It is free and open to the public.

This fitness class is a step up from the traditional cardio step class. Tarah will teach basic to complex moves on a raised fitness step to hip hop beats. Beginners are welcome to come learn and practice the moves without a raised step until they are ready to progress. Please bring a full-size 43” wide step.

Please join us for the Johnstone Irregulars Book Club on Tuesday, April 6 at 6 pm. You may attend the online Zoom meeting or you may attend in person in Meeting Room A of the Library. At this time, the cooking classes are only held live on the Bartlesville Public Library Facebook page. As soon as the meeting rooms open back up, we look forward to having the community attend in person.

Ashley is back in April and May for Summer Body Prep! This fitness class begins on Monday, April 5, at 6 pm! Summer Body Prep w/ Ashley will be held outside at Unity Square on the Green on Mondays and Wednesdays through the end of May.

Get that strong and lean summer body that will have you ready for some fun in the sun!! This class is FREE and open to the public. All fitness levels are welcome. Ashley will focus on body weight, full-body workouts! Please bring a mat.
