All events are Mondays at 2pm in the Library's Upstairs Meeting Room, unless otherwise indicated.


June 2: Puppeteer/Ventriloquist Robin presents "A Fine Mess You Got Us Into."


June 9: Tri-County Technology Center's Robotics Club will be here with their robot creations!


June 16: Native American Storytelling and Art with a special visit from the Oklahoma Indian Summer Princess.


June 23: Magician Doug Anderson as "Doc Rogers."


June 30: Movie Matinee: Due to licensing restrictions, the movie's title can't be announced, but here's a hint: "Lewis, a brilliant inventor meets mysterious stranger Wilbur Robinson, who whisks Lewis away in a time machine."


July 7: Drum Circle Group will guide participants in rhythmic percussion.


July 14: Storyteller Fran Stallings will share "Green Science: folktales raise questions, science hunts for answers."


July 21 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.: Oklahoma Museum Network will present two programs: Physics Funhouse at 10 a.m. and Close Encounters of the Chemistry Kind at 2 p.m. Expect eye-catching displays, chemical reactions, controlled explosions, and spectacular action designed to amaze the mind and challenge the senses.

Experiment with reading at the Bartlesville Public Library this summer! Kids aged 0-12 may sign up and receive their packet beginning May 19th. Starting June 2, participants are asked to share with library staff what they've been reading each week, in order to be eligible for weekly prize drawings for books and more.

There are many ways to report your reading:
  • Come by the library in person

  • Email srp@bartlesville.lib.ok.us
  • Fill out the form below, where it says "Report your Reading."


The summer reading program is free and open to all. Call 918-338-4170. Those who check in with the Library every week will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing for a VTech InnoTab 3S Tablet at the end of July!
